Ship On Board Installation
Shipboard installations mean machines conceived and designed according to specific rules, to be installed on ships.
Special configurations, dedicated painting and long-life materials, able to resist against corrosion, are just some of the characteristics that distinguish these special shredders that are duly certified by Certifications Bodies to guarantee the conformity to the shipboard rules.
The SA2 – 500 model is a machine certified for on board installation which include, as well as the MARPOL 73/78 – Annex V certification, also specific machine technical configuration (production materials, special painting, etc..)
Furthermore, SA Eng machines are designed to be installed in hazardous working areas, such as oil tankers or extraction platforms, and by those cases it will be Atex/IECEx certified.
